The Overview
Founded in 2006, EOS is a self care company that sells lip balm, shaving cream, lotion, and exfoliates. They are most known for their spherical lip balm containers, which was at its peak of popularity in the early 2000s. Now EOS is in desperate need to connect with their younger target audience.
The Problem
EOS, although originally seen as the trendiest lip balm to have back in the early 2000s, has declined in popularity amongst consumers.
The Solution
Help EOS connect with their target audience by appealing to their aesthetic senses. Moodboards were and still are popular, particularly on Pinterest and Instagram. What better way to connect to trendy people than through fashion and collectibles?

EOS Fashion Moodboards
There has been an old trend of curated fashion mood boards on Pinterest that has caught fire. Fashion stylists also use curated mood boards to send to clients. It could be interesting to pair EOS with clothes in an aesthetically pleasing way. This gallery could be featured on Pinterest (back to its origins), or on Instagram which is fashion aesthetic central.
EOS Website Blog
My assignment was to create a blogpost for a website, and I had chosen EOS for my project. The blog post features lip balms from EOS' past with limited editions that collectors can enjoy!
Outcome + Reflections + Next Steps
I think this is by far one of my favorite mini projects out of all the ones I have worked on thus far. I was able to create moodboards which is the step I enjoy the most out of every project, and I was already familiar with the brand which allowed me to pick up on it's aesthetics and art direction quicker. If I had to continue working on this project, I definitely would expand on what I have already created and continue to flesh out their blog. Otherwise I consider this a very successful and enjoyable project!
