The Overview
For this project I was tasked with creating a chocolate brand from a made up word. I envisioned a Greek aesthetic since the word Sykies sounded like a city in Greece. For my mascot I found that the goddess Artemis would be the best suited for the theme of an Eco-conscious chocolate brand.
The Problem
There needed to be an eco friendly chocolate brand that would entice buyers to eat it. The chocolate must be inviting and evoke a sense of nature.
The Solution
I centered the aesthetic on Greece and focused on the Goddess Artemis who is the Goddess of animals, the wild hunt, vegetation, and childbirth. I felt that she would evoke a sense of calm and happiness for people in who ate this chocolate.

I loved working on this project as I was fully able to embody my illustrative skills. I hope that I will be able to work on other packaging design projects in the future as I had a lot of fun with this one. I think if I had to redo this project, I would change what paper I had printed my packaging on. Otherwise I am very happy with the outcome.
